  • "The National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial pays tribute to those we lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Each Memorial Unit is comprised of a cantilevered bench, a lighted pool of flowing water, and a permanent tribute, by name, to each victim. One-hundred-and-eighty-four lives were lost at the Pentagon that day. They were men, women, and children. They were mothers and fathers, husbands and wives, sisters and brothers, daughters and sons. While the physical damage to the Pentagon was rebuilt in less than one year, these attacks changed the world, and us, forever. For more information about those lost to us that day, or to learn about the memorial, go to http://pentagonmemorial.org."
