WIESBADEN, Germany -- The winners of the U.S. Army level 2016 Adjutant General's Corps Civilian, Soldier and Warrant Officer of the Year are all from U.S. Army Europe.

This year's winners are Warrant Officer of the Year Chief Warrant Officer Two Enrius Collazo-Gerena, the Chief G-1 enlisted strength management at the 21st Theater Support Command, Civilian of the Year Mr. Dustin K. Oakes, an information management specialist at U.S. Army NATO Brigade and Soldier of the Year Specialist Travis S. Chenette, a human resources specialist with the 5th Signal Command.

In 2003, in honor of LTG Timothy J. Maude, former Army G-1, and SGM Larry L. Strickland, Army G-1 SGM, both killed in action on 11 September 2001 at The Pentagon, the Adjutant General's Corps (AGC) implemented an awards program to formally recognize the Regimental Officer, Warrant Officer, Noncommissioned Officer, and Soldier of the Year, in addition to the Civilian Employee of the Year which was implemented in 2001 to honor Mr. John Dinnien.

Winners of each of the competitive categories of AG Officer, Noncommissioned Officer, Soldier, Senior Civilian, Civilian and Spouse of the year winners will be officially recognized at the AG Corps National Ball on June 3rd, 2016, at the Columbia Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
