REDSTONE ARSENAL, Alabama -- One U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command engineer begins the next chapter of his life.

Donald Hodge, an engineer with the command's Technical Center, retried from federal civilian service Jan. 7 at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters.

During the ceremony Hodge received the Superior Civilian Service Award, an American flag, a certificate of appreciation, a three-star note, and a certificate of retirement and pin.

Hodge retires with 29 years of civilian service.
