101st Airborne celebrates 101st baby of the month

Sgt. Timothy and Brooke Collins are the proud parents of Fort Campbell's 101st Baby of the month born at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital Wed., Aug. 19. Fort Campbell's newborn baby boy, Bryan Daniel Collins, was read his orders Aug. 20 by Cpt. Michael Finch of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell while Maj. Gen. Gary J. Volesky, commanding general, presented both mom and dad a 101st Birth Certificate.

The orders title, "Baby Campbell, 101-BABY, Private (extremely), bundle of joy, Heaven Sent," with tour of duty including daily feedings, naps and changing as required and will remain the center of attention until these orders are amended by the arrival of another member of the family.

Maj. Gen. Volesky was eager to rejuvenate the monthly 101st Baby recognition at U.S. Army Fort Campbell. He also presented the Collins family a 101st Airborne Baby onesie and coin.
