FORT HOOD, Texas -- Members of the Logistics Readiness Center-Hood participated in a "back to school" drive to support the local community and provide school supplies to those associated with the Killeen Housing Authority, here, Aug. 13.

Zanna Rayner, Department of Defense activity address code coordinator, LRC-Hood, assisted in coordinating the event.

"This is a great opportunity for our organization to give back to our community," she said. "This is something we would like to do each year to support those families who may need assistance in supplying their children with school supplies."

People donated enough backpacks, pencils, folders and binders to provide school supplies for 50 children.
