ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Maryland -- The 20th CBRNE Command (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosives) hosted a group of Saudi Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) leaders here Aug. 3.
Brig. Gen. William E. King IV, the commanding general of the 20th CBRNE Command, welcomed the group from the Saudi Ministry of the National Guard to his Aberdeen Proving Ground headquarters.
The 20th CBRNE Command serves with joint, interagency and allied partners around the world. Based on 19 posts in 16 states, Soldiers and civilians from 20th CBRNE Command combat the full range of global CBRNE threats from improvised explosive devices to Weapons of Mass Destruction.
The Saudi EOD officers attended briefings on the command's capabilities and its global mission. The 20th CBRNE commanding general said the visit bolstered his command's relationship with its Saudi partners.
"In our business, it's all about partnerships and it was an honor to welcome our Saudi partners here at our headquarters," said King, a native of Killeen, Texas.
