FORT MCCOY, Wisconsin -- In southwestern Wisconsin is Fort McCoy. The U.S. Army Sustainment Command, at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, is higher headquarters to the Logistics Readiness Center there. As of now, ASC oversees 71 LRCs globally.

Fort McCoy is a major Reserve installation totaling 60,000 acres of federal property. Officials there said more than 100,000 Service Members train there annually. LRC-McCoy is a major player in the success of this training thanks to its logistical support in Central Issue, Retail Supply Operations, Asset Management, Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services, Food Services, Materiel Support Maintenance, Transportation, and Ammunition Supply Services.

According to the post guide, Fort McCoy provides reserve- and active-component forces with the networked, integrated, interoperable training resources required to support the Army's training strategies with a full spectrum of facilities, ranges, and training areas.
