Fort Monroe Tree Lighting
More than a dozen youths from Fort Monroe, Va., join Garrison Commander, Col. Anthony D. Reyes, in lighting the installation's Christmas tree during the traditional ceremony in front of the post headquarters building. The event provided an opportunity for Col. Reyes to emphasize the importance of Army families and our support of deployed service members during this time of year. The tree-lighting event also featured music by a brass ensemble from the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Band and a visit by Santa Claus.
