Commander-in-chief meets with West Point cadets
President Bush visited the U.S. Military Academy Dec. 9 and provided the junior, sophomore and freshman classes an update on the Global War on Terrorism during a speech at Eisenhower Hall. Bush spoke about doing what was necessary here and abroad to protect our troops and the American people. He also talked about how Afghanistan and Iraq offers an insight to a "new kind of war" and how it\'s transforming the fight for the next generation with the use of GPS, unmanned aerial vehicles, Special Operations expansion and a new focus on counterinsurgency that has lead to a military transformation not seen since World War II.
