FOX Sports Midwest will broadcast live from Fort Leonard Wood before, during and after the Cardinals game on May 29, as part of the network's annual This One's For You telecast to troops. The Cardinals Live pregame and postgame shows will originate from Nutter Field House, with Army Soldiers, Marines, Sailors and Airmen in the audience.

FOX Sports Midwest personalities Pat Parris and Al Hrabosky will host the show.

"In previous years during our This One's For You telecasts, we thanked Soldiers at forward operating bases around the world," Hrabosky said. "This year we're going to see thousands of men and women who take a job in the U.S. Army, leave their homes and report to Fort Leonard Wood for training. I can't wait to thank them personally."

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to wear their Cardinals or Dodgers gear and cheer on their favorite team.

Eli Wilson, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Community Activities manager, said attendees can take part in a number of activities before the show.

"It's going kick off at 5 p.m. with events leading up to 6:30, when the pregame show begins," Wilson said. "We will have some different activities and events going on, including a speed-pitch contest, for example. Better Opportunities for Single Service Members will also be selling hot dogs, sodas and things like that. ... Everything's free except for the food."

FOX Sports Midwest will feature live interaction with service members at Fort Leonard Wood during the telecast of the Cardinals' game against the Dodgers that night. Game time is 7:15 p.m.

"I have served all over the world as an Army bandsman for the past 13 years, and Cardinal baseball has always been the one thing that has kept me close to home all of these years," said Sgt. 1st Class Tim Kresse from Decatur, Ill., who is assigned with the 399th Army Band.

As a member of the 399th, Kresse had the opportunity to perform the national anthem at Busch Stadium in September. "I have had so many amazing performance experiences throughout my Army career, but that moment to me was possibly the best," Kresse said. "When I found out that the FOX Sports Midwest pregame show was coming to Fort Leonard Wood, I was ecstatic. Cardinal baseball is a family tradition to me that my dad passed down to his boys; this is something I'm passing on to my two sons now that we're back close to home."

In addition to being televised on FOX Sports Midwest, the game will be shown on American Forces Network to troops throughout the world.

This is FOX Sports Midwest's 11th year producing a This One's For You telecast. The program is presented in coordination with FOX Sports Supports, a nationwide effort which supports the military. It is made possible through the assistance of the Cardinals, Fort Leonard Wood and American Forces Network.
