ANSBACH, Germany - From April 21-23, 2015, Soldiers from 12th CAB participated in an Air Assault School selection process at Katterbach Kaserne and Oberdachstetten Training Area.

The selection process determined which 12th CAB Soldiers would earn the privilege of attending Air Assault School at USAG Bavaria (Grafenwoehr).

The selection process events consisted of a U.S. Army Physical Fitness Test at Katterbach Kaserne, completion of obstacles at the Oberdachstetten Training Area, and a 12-mile ruck march starting at the range complex at the training area.

The events were graded to the same standards as the Air Assault Course. This allowed the evaluators to select candidates who will have the best chance of completing the school.

Soldiers selected from this course will attend Air Assault School at USAG Bavaria later this year.
