Huntsville Center awards modification to Information Technology contract

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA -- The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville awarded Netcentrics Corp. of Herndon, Virginia, an $18,185,917 modification to contract for management services for the Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT).

Work will be performed in Herndon, Virginia, with an estimated completion date of April 23, 2017.

The contract provides for management of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ACE-IT Hardware Catalog, integration services and purchase of various approved IT equipment and accessories. The IT Hardware Catalog is used to process requirements for desktop and laptop computers, peripherals switches, routers, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), accessories and other IT equipment.

The contractor will manage the product catalog within the OrderTrak tracking system accessible to USACE customers and used to describe available products, collect requirements, and provide order and delivery status.

Huntsville Center's Information Technology Services branch, which procured the services, offers a full scale program/project management and acquisition support solution for Department of Defense Information Technology requirements and manages the ACE-IT program.
