The National Cheerleaders Association hosted the NCA/NDA New Mexico Spirit Championship at Rio Rancho High School, where more than 37 teams, made up of five-year-olds to high school students, competed in several different divisions. Students from Texas and New Mexico attended the one day competition.
Fort Bliss' SKIESunlimited Competition Cheerleaders, under the direction of Coach Amy Thomas, secured first place in the Recreational-A Division.
