SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii --- Non-commissioned officers and junior enlisted Soldiers from Medical Department Activity Korea (MEDDAC-K), Medical Department Activity Japan (MEDDAC-J), Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) and United States Army Health Clinic - Schofield Barracks (USAHC-SB) participated in the 2015 Pacific Regional Medical Command (PRMC) Best Warrior Competition here, March 16-19, 2015.

A total of eight Soldiers competed for the Best Warrior title.

The four-day competition tested the Soldiers Army aptitude, warfare simulation, physical fitness, oral boards, and Army Warrior Task and battle drills relevant to today's operating environment.

According to competitors, the competition required a tremendous amount of endurance, challenging them to work through tough terrain, harsh weather conditions and a high volume of stress to distinguish themselves as the best.

When asked what the competition meant to Spc. Alexandria Lorenzo she stated, "This competition has given me a really good opportunity to advance my career in the Army. It's a really challenging competition but it's also really rewarding whether you win or lose."

On March 20, 2015, PRMC honored the winners of the Best Warrior competition at TAMC.

By maintaining the best score through events such as the Army Physical Fitness Test, an oral board, a written test, dominating an obstacle course, day and night land navigation, Army Warriors Task training, and maintaining good sights during a stress shooting event, one non-commissioned officer and one junior enlisted Soldier stood out above the rest.

Pfc. Dillon Biggs and Sgt. Cory Glasgow, both from USAHC-SB, were presented the PRMC Best Warrior award and will continue on to Medical Command's (MEDCOM) Best Warrior Competition in San Antonio, Texas.

This is the second year that USAHC-SB has had both the junior enlisted and non-commissioned officers win the PRMC Best Warrior competition.

"The biggest challenge through this whole competition was the competitors. They gave me a real run for the money. I did my best every day. It means a lot to be representing the health clinic again and go to MEDCOM. This has been a humbling experience and I could not have done it without my NCOs and leadership," said non-commissioned officer PRMC Best Warrior competition winner, Sgt. Cory Glasgow.

Junior enlisted winner, Pfc. Dillon Biggs stated, "Winning this completion is really motivating. Everyone knows that this is not the end of the road as far as me and Sgt. Glasgow competing. Next up is MEDCOM. It was really motivating to be competing alongside such great soldiers and NCOs during this competition and I can't wait to represent Schofield Barracks Health Clinic at MEDCOM."

The following is a list of the Soldiers who competed in this week long competition:
