FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. -- Pictured here are the faces of the U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground's (USAEPG) Test Analysis Division, Data Processing Team. The test team provides data reduction and analysis (DRA) in support of lab testing and over-the-air field testing for Army radios at USAEPG Fort Huachuca, Ariz. and at Fort Bliss, Texas, during Network Integration Evaluation events. The test team utilizes USAEPG's Instrumentation Management System, a set of software services used to monitor and test communications systems, to collect network data including: message traffic, mission command traffic, and network control traffic. The Data Processing Team reduces the collected data using USAEPG'S Data Processing Unit Modular and DRA- Findings software to provide a variety of network metrics such as message completion rate and speed-of-service reports and graphs. These are the faces most people never see, but they are the faces behind our data analysis and reduction for lab and over-the-air field testing.
