The Aviation and Missile Command's new vision statement calls upon the organization to value "people first, Soldiers always," and it is also the focus of a new series in which the people of AMCOM will be publicly recognized for their performance in support of the Warfighter.

The new series, "People of AMCOM," is a feature article that will be published weekly in the AMCOM Facebook page, the internal AMCOM SharePoint website, and The Redstone Rocket. Articles will tell the personal stories of exemplary individuals working to deliver readiness to the Soldiers.

Supervisors are asked to select eligible employees and nominate them by submitting their completed interview forms. Selected candidates will participate in the series by responding to several questions relating to their interests and responsibilities, both at AMCOM and in their personal lives.

Nomination and interview forms are available for supervisors in the AMCOM Public Affairs Office (Building 5300, Room 5143), and by contacting the following address: melody.r.young2.ctr@mail.mil. Questions about the series should be directed to the Public Affairs Office at 256-842-3546.
