PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J. (Feb. 10, 2015) -- Sgt. Saul Barr, a 91D generator mechanic at the 250th Brigade Support Battalion, New Jersey National Guard, used the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual, with embedded 3-D technologies, Jan. 30 at Picatinny during a verification of the IETM for the M153A2 Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station.

IETM is a digital and interactive manual that allows Soldiers to work with virtual models of systems and helps Soldiers perform common maintenance procedures such as inspection, assembly and disassembly. The IETM, with embedded 3-D technologies, for CROWS is the most advanced of its kind developed by Picatinny's Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center and the U.S. Army TACOM Life Cycle Management Command.
