CAMP ZAMA, Japan (Jan. 27, 2015) -- The Pacific Rim on Sagamihara Family Housing Area installation hosted "Little Chef's Night" and "Kids Movie Night" every Sunday for the month of January.

This event gives children the opportunity to build their own pizza said Shiho Nakao, manager of the SFHA Club.

"They build their own pizza by adding the sauce and cheese then select toppings which includes a variety of vegetables and meats, all while watching movies on the TV monitors in the restaurant."

Capt. Ryan Fuesting, assigned to 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, escorted his 8-year-old daughter, Ella, to a cooking table Jan. 18 for her to become a "little chef."

Ella said her favorite part of the event was putting pizza sauce on her pizza.

"She likes to cook so (this) is an opportunity for her to make her own food," said Fuesting.

"I like when children learn how fun it is to cook their own food," said Nakao.
