
WIESBADEN, Germany -- U.S. Army Europe headquarters staff welcomed Lt. Gen. Karen Dyson, the military deputy for the budget office of the assistant secretary of the Army, here Jan. 12, during her visit to the various U.S. Army posts around Europe.
While visiting USAREUR, Dyson is reviewing budgetary needs and guidelines for the current fiscal year with senior leadership.
Along with Dyson is Don Tison, the assist deputy chief of staff for the Army's comptroller division.
The visit here includes various stops around the headquarters, including a staff call with Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, commander of USAREUR, a tour of the various facilities and offices on Clay Kaserne and a stop at the new PX, which is scheduled to open later this year.
Dyson also stayed to speak at the USAREUR senior leader forum the next day. The forum brought together many leaders throughout the USAREUR footprint to discuss key topics and ideas pertaining to the current state and future of the U.S. Army in Europe, including future budget issues.
