WIESBADEN, Germany -- Army Europe announced the winners of the Eisenhower Professional Writing Competition winners Jan. 13, during the USAREUR Senior Leaders Forum.
This year's focus revolved around Operation Atlantic Resolve, and the individual lessons learned as well as how leaders developed themselves professionally.
All four Army Europe Soldiers earning the award are from the 173rd Airborne Brigade, out of Vicenza, Italy.
Taking home the top honors was 2nd Lt. Miles Gabrielson with "Fire Support During Operation Atlantic Resolve."
Honorable mentions went to:
-Sgt. 1st Class David Williams with "Case Study: Tracking Logistics in Operation Atlantic Resolve and Exercise Saber Junction 14"
- Polish Army Capt. Arkadiusz Skrzek and Capt. Teddy Borawski with "Training at the Company Level between U.S. and Polish Paratroopers as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve"
-1st Lt. Dustin Lawrence with "From Cameroon to the Baltic States: Chosen Company's Path to Atlantic Resolve"
The Eisenhower Writing Competition encourages professionals in USAREUR to share their expertise, knowledge and experiences by writing and publishing professional articles. Winning articles are chosen by the command team as having the most positive effect on the U.S. Army or Army Europe.
