CAMP ZAMA, Japan (Dec. 9, 2014) -- Camp Zama's Army team defeated the Navy team from Naval Air Facility Atsugi 20-0 during the annual Army vs. Navy flag football game held Dec. 6, at Rambler Field on Camp Zama.

The Army team consisted of Soldiers and civilian employees from various units and organizations on Camp Zama.

One Army player, Staff Sgt. Antuione Perry, assigned to U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Japan, said, "We actually paid a lot of attention to details this year, and I think it showed on the field."

NAF Atsugi Commanding Officer Capt. John Bushey, said, "This is a great way for our Sailors and Soldiers to get together."

Col. Joy Curriera, the commander of U.S. Army Garrison Japan, said, "It is all about camaraderie," after receiving a trophy for the Army's win.

The Navy team members sang along with the Army team members to a rendition of the Army Song at the end of the event.
