REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's Equal Opportunity advisor retired among family, friends and coworkers Dec. 4.

Sgt. 1st Class Reginald E. White, USASMDC/ARSTRAT's EO advisor, retired during a ceremony at the command's Redstone Arsenal headquarters.

During the ceremony White received the Meritorious Service Medal, the Noble Patron of Space award, an American flag, a certificate of appreciation from the president, and three-star note from SMDC's commanding general, and a certificate of retirement and pin.

White retires with 24 years of service.
