VILSECK, Germany -- Kindergarten students Noah Gillespie and Aidan Tabb learn the importance of cooperation, community and sharing as they work together to make a pot of stone soup.

The students in Ann Carmichael's class read and discussed seven different versions of the folk tale, Stone Soup. They then learned the importance of working together in order to achieve a goal. Each member of the class contributed a food item to the soup or items for the table.

After finishing the soup the children all sat down together to enjoy the meal.
