LAGHMAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan (Nov. 8, 2014) - The Hon. Katherine Hammack, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Installations, Energy and Environment visited Train, Advise, Assist Command - East at Tactical Base Gamberi Saturday. During her visit, Hammack met with TAAC-E Commander Brig. Gen. Christopher Bentley and senior leaders and staff to discuss TAAC-E bases, projects and logistics in eastern Afghanistan. With combat operations under Operation Enduring Freedom coming to an end in December, TAAC-E is set to continue training, advising and assisting Afghan security forces under Resolute Support.
