FORT HOOD, Texas - More than 100 1st Cavalry Division Soldiers redeploy, including about 50 Troopers from the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion "First Attack," 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cav. Div., during a ceremony at Fort Hood, Texas, Oct. 8.

The Air Cav Soldiers were returning from a yearlong deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and their arrival marked the return of the final deployed Air Cav Soldiers.
