WASHINGTON (Oct. 1, 2014) --Career Program 26 -- Manpower and Force Management (CP26) announces plans to update its Army Civilian Training, Education and Development System (ACTEDS) Plan by the end of the year.

Updates to the CP 26 ACTEDS plan will include an overview for civilian career program management within Manpower and Force Management as well as a logical framework for developing core competencies required of Manpower and Force Management professionals.

"We want to be proactive in promoting the manpower and force management workforce," said Beryl Hancock, chief of Manpower, Plans and Programs Division and CP26 Proponency Office. "I am excited about the future of Army manpower and force management and the role we have in supporting Soldiers."

Hancock and her staff affirm their commitment to supporting the development of CP26 'careerists' with the dawning of its new logo.

"These new logos are a small and simple upgrade, but I felt they were important to show our commitment to our community as we support ever changing Army missions," she added.

CP26 is one of the Army's centrally managed civilian career programs and is composed primarily of Management Analysts who work in one or more of the nine manpower and force management functional areas. Because of this functional diversity, CP26 analysts work in a variety of organizations such as resource management, plans and training, documentation, and management engineering at installations and major commands across the Army.
