GRAFENWOEHR, Germany -- Lt. Col. Gregory Orrell, U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria chief of staff and Sgt. Sean O'Brien, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, USAG Bavaria, duck behind a barrier during paintball capture the flag at the USAG Bavaria Wild B.O.A.R. facility, Oct. 3.

The paintball game was part of the USAG Bavaria HHC Organizational Day. Eighty Soldiers and their families from Garmisch, Hohenfels, Rose and Tower Barracks convened in Tower Barracks for a day of paintball, barbecue and awards.

The day fosters esprit de corps in a company that has Soldiers spread out over 250 miles, said Capt. Andrew Higgins, commander, HHC, USAG Bavaria.

"We all know each other, but today we get to be together and see each other face-to-face," he said.
