FORT CAMPBELL, KY - Army Physician Assistant (PA), Maj. L. Kyle Faudree, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (A) received the Army Surgeon General's (TSG) Physician Assistant Recognition Award during a recent ceremony held at Fort Campbell, Ky.

The annual TSG-PARA provides personal recognition by the Army Surgeon General to a PA who has made a significant contribution to military medicine. The award is intended to increase PA motivation for exceptional job performance. The program applies to all commands, agencies, installations, activities, and organizations having PAs assigned on a full-time basis.

Army Physician Assistants provide a variety of services to troops that are traditionally performed by a physician. As an officer in the Medical Specialist Corps, PA's play an important role in improving the overall quality of life for Soldiers and their families.
