CAMP CASEY, South Korea -- Col. Michael Lawson and Command Sgt. Maj. Mark Brinton, the command team for 210th Field Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, become honorary citizens of Dongducheon, South Korea, July 28, 2014 at Dongducheon City Hall.
"I would like to thank you for making me honorary citizen of Dongducheon. We really love the people and the culture we've experienced since coming here," said Command Sgt. Maj. Mark L. Brinton to Mayor Oh Se-chang.
Mayor Oh Se-chang, the mayor of the city, thanked them for their service and their hard work to strengthen the relationship with local communities. "I would like to thank Col. Lawson and Command Sgt. Maj. Brinton for helping out within local communities, such as the English Village program," said Oh. "I would also like to have these relationships continue between Soldiers and the city of Dongducheon."
