"I would like to thank you for making me honorary citizen of Dongducheon. We really love the people and the culture we've experienced since coming here," said Command Sgt. Maj. Mark L. Brinton to Mayor Oh Se-chang.
Mayor Oh thanked them for their service and their hard work to strengthen the relationship with local communities. "I would like to thank Col. Lawson and Command Sgt. Maj. Brinton for helping out within local communities such as the English Village program," said Oh. "I would also like to have these relationships continue between Soldiers and the city of Dongducheon."

Mark Brinton, the senior enlisted advisor of 210th Field Artillery Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division enters the Dongducheon City Hall with his wife, Shannon Brinton, July 28, 2014 in Dongducheon, South Korea. Mayor Oh Se-chang, the mayor of Dongducheon, declared Brinton and Col. Michael Lawson, the commander of 210th FA Bde., 2nd Inf. Div., honorary citizens of the city.
