JOINT BASE MYER-HENDERSON HALL, Va. - The Ashburn Village Aqua Jets were far from kind to the Fort Myer Squids July 12 at the Fort Myer Officers Club pool complex.

The FMST Squids dropped a 289-155 Colonial Swim League decision to the Aqua Jets as the home team did claim 17 individual first-place finishes, yet won only three of 12 relay events.

Multiple race winners included Ana Beauvais, Claire Mowery, Jack Mowery, Isabel Mowery, Jack St. Pierre and Patrick St. Pierre.

In the 9- and 10-year-old 50-yard breaststroke race, Ana Beauvais broke her own record for the fourth time this season with a time of 40.63 seconds.

In the relays, the 8-year-old and under girl's medley team of Sydney Payne, Rita Kunkel, Kayleigh Rogers and Grace Brougham earned FMST's first victory in a time of 1:52:38. The 9- and 10-year-old female medley team of Stephanie Spranger, Ana Beauvais, Kaitlin St. Pierre and Claire Mowery followed with a 1:16:59 win. The boy's 13- and 14-year-old boy's 200-yard medley combo of Jack St. Pierre, Michael DiLeonardo, Jack Mowery and Tariq Gardner earned the final relay victory in a time of 2:22:13.

The Squids, currently 2-2 on the season, host the Red Division-leading Burke Centre Penguins at the Officers Club pools July 19.
