ARLINGTON, Va. (July 15, 2014) -- Gen. Julius Waweru Karangi, Chief of the Kenya Defense Forces, participated in an Armed Forces Full Honors Wreath Laying ceremony with Maj. Gen Jeffery S. Buchanan, U.S. Army Military District of Washington commanding general at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.

Following the wreath laying ceremony Karangi visited with Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to discuss matter of mutual interest to both nations.
