Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) and Pacific Regional Medical Command (PRMC) Commanding General, Brig. Gen. Dennis Doyle (center-left) and Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Luciano (center-right), PRMC and TAMC Senior Enlisted Advisor, hosted Senior Captain Sun Tao (center), People's Republic of China, People's Liberation Army (Navy), along with 60 medical staff during a medical capabilities exchange July 8, 2014 at TAMC following a U.S. envoy tour of the Peace Ark.

The visitors received a command brief and spoke with TAMC subject matter experts from the Emergency Department, Tele-Health, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Medical Simulation and Interventional Radiology.

The visitors are participating in Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014 exercise, from June 26 to Aug. 1 in and around the Hawaiian Islands.

The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity that helps participants foster and sustain the cooperative relationships that are critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans.
