Brig. Gen. (P) Bruce T. Crawford, commanding general of U.S. Communications-Electronics Command was confirmed for promotion to major general on June 25 by the U.S. Senate. Crawford took command of CECOM on May 20, 2014. His recent military assignments include J6, director of C4/Cyber and chief information officer, U.S. European Command in Stuttgart, Germany and served concurrently as the commanding general of 5th Theater Signal Command and chief information officer, G6, of U.S. Army Europe in Wiesbaden, Germany.
