The Army Contracting Command-New Jersey conducted leadership development workshops for 49 of its employees at the contracting center's Picatinny and Fort Dix locations.

Participants were introduced to a variety of leadership skills, strategies and approaches through the week-long "Dare to Lead" workshop.

"Dare to Lead was one of the best classes I've ever taken," said Paul Lepore, cost and pricing analyst. "Not only was the information powerful, but the instructor delivered it extremely well. He kept the class involved with many useful exercises and gave us many tools to improve our leadership skills in the workplace."

These were the first leadership development workshops hosted by ACC-NJ in its new training facility and because of feedback from the participants, ACC-NJ will continue to host management/leadership workshops designed and delivered to enhance the development and efficiency of our future leaders.

"The facilitator was engaging and energetic, using his own particular spin on established concepts to involve the whole group in many different activities to inspire our creative thinking and practice taking the lead," Jacki Dyda, contracting officer.
