Sgt. 1st Class Holland finds a comfortable shooting position before the 2014 Warrior Trials
Before starting the 40 shots for the 2014 U.S. Army Warrior Trials shooting challenge, on June 16, Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Holland, Warrior Transition Unit, Fort Benning, Ga., finds a comfortable shooting position without his air rifle in hand. This preparation earned him a score of 385 earning a spot in the finals, held on the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. More than 100 wounded, ill and injured service members and Veterans from across the United States are at West Point competing in the Army Warrior Trials, June 15-19. The event is hosted by Warrior Command and includes athletes from the Army, Marines and Air Force facing off in archery, basketball, cycling, track and field, swimming, shooting, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball.
