JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. - A Brazilian army delegation visited Joint Base Lewis-McChord to become familiar with the U.S. Army Stryker vehicle and its variants.

Led by Brigade General Altair Jose Polsin, Commander of the Brazilian Army 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, the group attended briefings to learn about Stryker capabilities and Stryker unit organization, at the 7th Infantry Division Headquarters, May 13. This familiarization was intended to set the conditions for future military-to-military U.S. and Brazilian training events.

The delegation had an opportunity to see the Stryker vehicle and numerous variants with a visit to 3-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team motor pools, and to meet Soldiers of 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment.
