Spc. Bryon Nelson, a water treatment specialist with the 40th Quartermaster Company of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, deploys a Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) intake screen during the Sergeant Major John C. Marigliano ROWPU Rodeo on May, 6 at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek -- Fort Story. Nelson and his team were one of eight teams competing in the rodeo from around the world. From 1999 to 2003, the Quartermaster School's Petroleum and Water Departerment, in conjunction with U.S. Army Forces Command's G4 have hosted ROWPU rodeos at various locations.

FORSCOM Logistics Training Cluster hosted the 2014 SGM John C. Marigliano Award of Excellence Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) Regulated On-site Demonstrated Efficiency Objective (RODEO) championship competition at Fort Story, VA, 5- 9 May 14.
