REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. - The U.S. Army Contracting Command will host a Strong Bonds couples workshop June 13-15 in North Carolina.

The Army Strong Bonds program is a chaplain-led commander's tool to help couples build relationship resiliency. The event is open to all married Soldiers assigned to ACC, to include its subordinate units.

According to Staff Sgt. Jeanmarie Alexis, Expeditionary Contracting Command chaplain assistant, the weekend is designed to strengthen the total Army family by strengthening individual families.

The command-sponsored, non-denominational event will take place at the Ramada Plaza Nags Head Oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills, N.C. Lodging, food and child care are provided. Attendees must pay for their own transportation to and from the event.

The deadline to register is May 9. To sign-up, call or email Alexis at 256-955-8604, jeanmarie.alexis.mil@mail.mil; or Staff Sgt. Jorico Canty at 910-432-6323, jorico.s.canty.mil@mail.mil.

ACC is also planning another Strong Bonds event in Texas during the fall. Details on that event will be available soon.
