Brig. Gen. Daniel Hughes, program executive officer for PEO Command, Control, Communications-Tactical, poses a question to a leadership panel comprised of Aberdeen Proving Ground senior leaders during the 2014 Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Summit, April 16 during a question and answer session designed to spark conversation and ideas as to how best to create a positive command climate for sexual harassment and sexual assault response. The summit provided a forum where senior APG leaders exchange ideas, best practices and discuss the way ahead to encourage reporting practices and spark a culture change of trust that holds offenders accountable for sexual harassment and assault offenses. Seated next to him is keynote speaker Carolyn Collins, sits next to Carolyn Collins, Deputy Director (Civilian) of Army Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) Program who provided updates on the current status of the Army's efforts and initiatives to address incidences of sexual assault and sexual harassment in the ranks.
