The Soldiers of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, had a very interesting training day today. Instructors from the Royal Thai Army, Pratupha Special Forces Training Camp, taught jungle survival skills to the Soldiers of 1-21 Inf. and their RTA counterparts.

Among the skills learned were identification and handling of native poisonous reptiles, namely the King Cobra, hunting, killing, and cooking their own food, from fish and chicken to lizards.

The skills they learned during this training could save their lives if they ever find themselves separated from their element in the jungle.
