REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. -- The U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command's personnel said farewell to one of their engineers.
Granville R. "Sonny" Anderson II, general engineer, Rapid Transitions Directorate, Assessments and Transitions Division, SMDC's Technical Center, retired Jan. 29 at the command's Redstone Arsenal, Ala., headquarters.
During the ceremony, Andersone received the Meritorious Civilian Service Award, certificate of appreciation, three-star note, and certificate of retirement and pin.
Anderson retires with 28 years of federal service.
