CAMP ZAMA, Japan -- General Shigeru Iwasaki (center), chief of staff of the Joint Staff Council of the Japan Self-Defense Forces, and Lt. Gen. Masahiro Hidaka (left), commander of Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces's Central Rediness Force, visited here Jan. 29, to view bilateral command post exercise Keen Edge 2014 operations. During their visit, they held talks with Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer Sr., commander of U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward), along with watching the bilateral activities. Keen Edge is a recurring combined-joint command post exercise held every two years with U.S. and Japan forces.
