WIESBADEN, Germany -- The spouse of a U.S. Army staff sergeant assigned to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in Naples, Italy was found dead in her home in Licola, Italy, Saturday Jan. 18.
U.S. military authorities are giving their support to Italian authorities as they continue the investigation.
The Soldier's leadership is monitoring the situation closely and ensuring the deceased spouse's family members are being cared for appropriately.
The incident is still under investigation.
