WIESBADEN, Germany --U.S. Army in Europe announced the winners of the fourth annual Frederick E. Vollrath Human Resources Award for Excellence Program, Jan. 23, on Clay Kaserne.

The winners are:

•Capt. John A. Hurd, S-1 (staff personnel) officer in charge for 12th Combat Aviation Brigade in Ansbach, Germany

•Chief Warrant Officer 2 Johnathan Holsey, S-1 officer in charge for Allied Forces North Battalion, U.S. Army NATO Brigade, Brussels, Belgium

•Staff Sgt. Andrewmane Bowes, operations and administrative noncommissioned officer in charge in Allied Forces South Battalion, Norfolk, Virginia

•Spc. Zachary Sullivan, human resources specialist for U.S. Army Europe G-1

•Christina Parrett, management analyst for USAREUR G-3 (Operations)

•Garrett Knoche, lead for awards for USAREUR G-1

"This year's winners reflect the excellence and dedication of Adjutant General and Human Resources personnel throughout the U.S. Army in Europe, and the great support they provide to our Soldiers, civilians and Families," said USAREUR commander Lt. General Donald M. Campbell.

The Vollrath program focuses on awarding achievements for those who serve in the human resources profession. Vollrath served his entire 35-year career in the adjutant general field and was only the second adjutant general officer to be promoted to lieutenant general.
