• CAMP RILEA, OREGON - Staff Sgt. William K. Sauder studies his map as he prepares to identify terrain features as part of his Warrior Training Task during the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne)'s Best Warrior Competition held here from 5 through 10 May.  Sauder competed against 10 other Soldiers and Non-commissioned officers from across the nation to take home this year's Best Warrior of the Year NCO category. This eight year combat veteran is a member of Bravo Company, 412thCivil Affairs Battalion, out of Columbus Ohio. He holds a psychology degree from Ohio State University and says he joined the Army to "lead and train Soldiers as they work to make a difference in the world."

Sauder transmits a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) request as part of his Warrior Training Task during the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne)\'s Best Warrior Competition held here from 5 through 10 May.   • CAMP RILEA, OREGON - Specialist Kimo Bandmann talks with his sponsor after completing his qualifying with M-16 rifle during the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne)\'s Best Warrior Competition held here from 5 through 10 May. Bandmann matched his endurance and wits against 10 other Soldiers and Non-commissioned officers from across the nation to take home this year's Best Warrior of the Year Soldier category. This former Sailor is a member of the 305th Civil Affairs Battalion, Pleasant Grove, Utah and says he joined the Army Reserve to continue to serve because he "loves this country." In his civilian occupation Bandmann helps keep the roadways safe as a Utah State Highway patrolman.
