Brig. Gen. Flem B. "Donnie" Walker Jr., 3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) commanding general, provided the keynote address for graduates of the Quartermaster Basic Officer Leader Course at the Army Logistics University Nov. 7. Walker told the graduates they would experience many challenges and transitions throughout their careers, but these would provide opportunities for them to make a difference and help shape the future of Army sustainment.

FORT LEE, Va. (Nov. 7, 2013) - Brig. Gen. Flem B. "Donnie" Walker Jr., 3rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) commanding general, poses for a photo with 2nd Lt. The general provided the keynote address for the BOLC class at the Army Logistics University Nov. 7. During his remarks, Walker shared his personal experiences in the military, since receiving his commission as a second lieutenant in the Quartermaster Corps in 1987. He also spoke to the class about the critical role the graduates will have in shaping the future of Army sustainment.
