The MP Corps has provided six personnel to participate in a JRTC Rotation proof of concept exercise with the intent of providing Host Nation LE support and coordination between General Purpose Forces, Special Operations Forces Headquarters, and interagency elements in order to enhance stability and targeting activities.

The U.S. Special Operations Forces currently lack a dedicated organic capability to advise and assist law enforcement entities of multinational partners. U.S. Special Forces Command has proposed reviving the Special Operations Military Police concept as a method to address current policing capability gaps.

This tremendous opportunity will allow the MP Corps to assess the concept to work more closely with the SOF and GPF for Security Force Assistance missions.
