Hometown: El Paso, Texas

Joined the Army: 2000 (this is my second time with the command -- spent three years with the 1st Space Brigade)

Route to Commission: West Point

MOS: FA40 -- Space operations officer

Education: Master of Science in geology and geophysics from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a Master of Military Arts and Science from the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies

Marital Status: Married

Children: Two

Activities/Hobbies: Riding bicycles with our kids, reading, and an occasional round of golf

Favorite movie: Historical documentaries

Favorite TV show: Monday night football AND Sunday night football

Favorite band: 1980s rock 'n roll

Favorite thing about the Army: Moving around our great country, learning from awesome people with diverse backgrounds, and making an impact on the course of world events makes this profession rewarding, unique and satisfying
