FORT Sill, Okla. -- Crafters and vendors are wanted for the annual Christ Kindl Markt Dec. 7 and 8 in the Rinehart Fitness Center gym.

Deadline for sign up is Nov. 30.

Vendors do not have to be military ID card holders but all vendors will need a driver's license or a picture ID to enter post.

Vendors from Fort Sill and the surrounding areas are invited to sell handmade or limited commercial items at the Christ Kindl Markt.

"Rent a booth space and get your merchandise seen by the Fort Sill community as you help Soldiers and their families at the same time. This is your opportunity to show off your organization or business and sell antiques, art, jewelry, photographs, fashion and other cool stuff to help Soldiers and their families shop for the holidays," said Traci Barsuglia, Outdoor Recreation manager, Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.

The event is open to local shoppers as well as the military community and there is no cost for customers to enter the Christ Kindl Markt.

"In the past, we have had vendors selling such items as wood, leather and copper crafts, jewelry, puppets, clothing, native American artwork, stuffed animals and wide variety of Christmas gift ideas," said Barsuglia.

"The event is indoors at the Rinehart Fitness Center gym, so weather should not be a problem and there is plenty of room for more than 100 vendors to participate," said said. "As of right now, we still have more than 30 spaces available but they are going fast."

According to Barsuglia, there will be plenty of space for each vendor to display their wares with each space measuring 10 foot by 10 foot.

Vendors should supply their own tables and display racks but if they do not have tables, they can rent them from the Outdoor Adventure Center, located in the RecPlex, 2502 Sheridan Road.

Vendors can stop by the Outdoor Adventure Center to sign up.
